Stephen J. Straussner - General Manager, River Cooperative Gin, Coolidge, AZ

Stephen Straussner has been the GM at the River Co-Op Gin since 1977 and oversees all aspects of their short and long staple cotton ginning operations. He has also worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Migrant Opportunity Program, The United Farm Workers Organizing Committee and VISTA. He is currently President of the Arizona Cotton Ginner’s Association and the State Officer and Regional Delegate to the National Cotton Council. He has presented at Texas A. & M. and the Cotton Ginner’s School at Mesilla, New Mexico on topics including Cotton Seed, Handling and Storage and Aflatoxin Monitoring and Testing.
