Michael Ahern, Ph.D. - Chemist/Research Engineer
Michael Ahern received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Arizona in 1998. Currently working in R&D in the semiconductor industry, he is currently helping bring a mass spectrometer based metrology tool to market. As a project manager and the primary author on numerous scientific papers and 3 patents, he has brought these technologies to the tool now in production in semiconductor fabs around the world. Previously Dr. Ahern held the position of Senior Instrumentation Specialist at Tulane University. He has a strong interest in alternative energy and new technologies.
