What is Eco-Sol?
Eco-Sol is a dynamic company with a different approach to agriculture and the biofuels market. Eco-Sol provides a unique integrated approach to renewable energy and sustainable agriculture while emphasizing solutions that are truly environmentally friendly when compared to current “Green†industry practices.
Our intent is to minimize not just monetary costs by eliminating unnecessary processing, transportation, and chemicals, but to minimize our environmental impact and carbon footprint as well. This is done through careful selection of oilseed feedstocks from area and climate suitable ecosystems, with an eye to reducing the water and energy used in all aspects of production. Through cooperative agreements with local gins, mills and farmers, we will provide a value added, locally grown, low maintenance/low input source of raw material for biodiesel production while driving agricultural economic development.
Eco-Sol minimizes the fossil fuels used in transportation of raw materials by locating at the points where these materials are gathered and distributed. Eco-Sol’s manufacturing process and facilities will be a closed energy system powered by our biodiesel resulting in a truly “green†production model with minimal waste and optimum efficiency.
We have established a wide network of experts in the agriculture industry and agricultural sciences who have assisted us in our work so far, and our advisory board includes Ph.D.s in fields such as chemistry, dairy nutrition and plant genetics, as well as industry representatives and leaders.
